The ability to sort things is an important skill. It teaches children the process of identifying and describing attributes, as well as the ability to see and find similarities and differences. It is one of the first steps in the long way of learning mathematical skills. A child should be able to categorize things into a group before obtaining starting the number learning.
This activity will teach children about different animal colorings, such as spots, stripes or solid. Children will learn about various patterns. They will be able to associate various colorings with specific animals and also classify animals by patterns.
Each category contains 10 animals for sorting.
